Nokia NRS - STAGE 1

Welcome to the Nokia IP Networking course. Thank you for joining me on an adventurous exciting track to demystify Nokia routing platforms. I have carefully designed this course to help students understand the Nokia Ip fundamentals and configurations. I had also prepared it with real life scenarios and cases, so you are better prepared for the field. My journey to make this course available started earlier in my Networking career. If you are here, chances are that you have searched resources to understand Nokia services aggregation. I told myself I was going to reach out and bridge that gap. I hold certificates in several networking fields, one of which is Nokia Routing Specialist. I will be guiding you through what you need to thrive in the networking field as it relates to Nokia aggregate routers. I will also place huge emphasis on practicals and practicality. If you enjoy hands on practice that is very useful in the field, then this is the course for you. At the End of this course, you should be ready to take your NRS1 certification successfully. You will also be able to hold your own with configuring Nokia service routers from the basics to more advanced configurations like building vpls/vprns /vpws etc. 

Here is how I plan to go through this course. I have structured it in a way that it will be easy to assimilate. I will interject the course with practice and questions relating to the modules we had just gone through. The Nokia Website has a practice exam question section. We will grab the recent one and work through the solutions together. So as we complete the Module, we will grab questions relating to the module to attempt and complete. At the end of this course, you would have mastered the basics of Nokia Ip networking. I ask that you do not skip any chapter/video as each module has been carefully planned by my team to give you full delivery and understanding of Ips and networking. You will be able to build mpls services like VPRNs and VPLS.

 Prerequisites What you will need. Some of the things you need in this course are

1) Consistency: I have made the lessons short and precise with more focus on actual configurations. That way, your concentration is maximum and unbroken. And you remain fresh for each module

         2) Lab time: In the first few modules, I will guide you through creating your own Lab, using GNS3 or EVE ng. 

        3) Practice: I will send out files with practice that will incorporate what we talked about after each session. 

  4) Questions: Send in your questions through the tools provided by -. I will attempt the questions in good time.
