Nokia NRS - STAGE 1

Welcome to the Nokia IP Networking course. Thank you for embarking on this exciting journey to unravel the complexities of Nokia routing platforms. This course is meticulously crafted to aid students in grasping the fundamentals and configurations of Nokia IP. It includes real-life scenarios and case studies to better equip you for practical application. My endeavor to create this course began early in my networking career. If you're here, it's likely you've sought resources to comprehend Nokia service aggregation. I resolved to fill this knowledge gap. As a certified Nokia Routing Specialist among other credentials, I will lead you through the essentials for success in networking with a focus on Nokia's aggregate routers. A strong focus will be on practical skills and their applicability. If hands-on practice that proves invaluable in the field appeals to you, then this course is tailored for you. By its conclusion, you should be well-prepared to successfully achieve your NRS1 certification and competently configure Nokia service routers, from basic setups to intricate configurations such as VPLS, VPRNs, and VPWS.

Here is how I plan to go through this course. I have structured it in a way that it will be easy to assimilate. I will interject the course with practice and questions relating to the modules we had just gone through. The Nokia Website has a practice exam question section. We will grab the recent one and work through the solutions together. So as we complete the Module, we will grab questions relating to the module to attempt and complete. At the end of this course, you would have mastered the basics of Nokia Ip networking. I ask that you do not skip any chapter/video as each module has been carefully planned by my team to give you full delivery and understanding of Ips and networking. You will be able to build mpls services like VPRNs and VPLS.

 Prerequisites What you will need. Some of the things you need in this course are

1) Consistency: I have made the lessons short and precise with more focus on actual configurations. That way, your concentration is maximum and unbroken. And you remain fresh for each module

         2) Lab time: In the first few modules, I will guide you through creating your own Lab, using GNS3 . 

        3) Practice: I will send out files with practice that will incorporate what we talked about after each session. 

  4) Questions: Send in your questions through the tools provided by -. I will attempt the questions in good time.
